Monti Sibillini

monti sibillini

Monti Sibillini highlands are located in between the Marches and Umbria, along the central Apennine chain. The formation of the mountains is essentially composed of limestone rocks, formed on the bottom of the seas warm. The structuring of the territory is the result of the Quaternary glacial. Even the karstic contribute to define the morphology of the group. The inside of the field-South Centre is characterized by two main backbone, the first of which joins the upstream Porche with Mount Sibilla while the second carries a structured path that goes from Mount Palazzo Borghese until upstream Prata. The Northern sector takes its upstream Bove, bounded by Val d'Ambro and the Gorge of Fiastrone. The sector South-Western Highlands we did not particularly relevant even if it includes specific conformations as the plans Castelluccio.
